Die CryEngine ist ja mittlerweile sehr bekannt dafür eine anspruchsvolle grafische Darstellung zu liefern. Zwei Modder haben dies nun genutzt und haben nahezu realistische Grafiken damit erschaffen. Durch Tipple-A Titel wie Far Cry und Crysis wurde die CryEngine richtig bekannt. Eine sehr detailierte Umgebung spricht auf jeden Fall für die Engine. Genau dieses Potential der Engine verwendeten kürzlich zwei Modder und haben damit richtig beeindruckende Grafiken erschaffen, die beinahe fotoecht aussehen. Der Modder „Mrick“ hat dabei eine Dodge Viper grafisch dargestellt. Der Sportwagen macht von außen schon echt eine Menge her. Im Licht schimmert der rote Metallic-Lack und es wurde auf wirklich jedes Detail geachtet. Aber erst so richtig umwerfend sieht das Interieur aus. Hier hat der Modder jede Menge Arbeit geleistet um das Cockpit so realistisch wie möglich wirken zu lassen. Ein weiterer Modder namens „Paravach“ hat einige Szenen aus dem Inneren eines luxuriösen Gebäudes mit der CryEngine entworfen. Man hat das Gefühl dabei ein Foto zu betrachten und erst bei genauerem Hinsehen erkennt man, dass es sich um eine Computergrafik handelt. Sollten Entwickler der Spieleindustrie dieses Potential wirklich in ihren Spielen implementieren, so können wir in ferner Zukunft mit Spielen rechnen, die eine absolut realistische Umgebung bieten werden. Natürlich ist dafür auch dementsprechende Leistung eines PCs erforderlich. Die Screenshots wollen wir euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten und haben sie hier in der Slideshow für euch angeführt.
