Far Cry 5 gehört zum Ubisoft-Universum und das ist bekanntlich nicht gerade frei von Fehlern in ihren Spielen, so nun auch im Open World-Shooter geschehen, der das Spiel in ewige Dunkelheit hüllt.
Im Ubisoft-Forum zu Far Cry 5 ist derzeit vermehrt zu lesen, dass ein Spielfehler dazu führt, dass der Tag-Nacht-Wechsel ausgesetzt wird. Sonnenaufgänge und generell das Tageslicht bleiben also fern. Auf Dauer kann die ewige Dunkelheit schon sehr nervig werden. Der Auslöser für diesen Bug ist bisher nicht wirklich bekannt. Berichten zufolge soll es mit dem Clutch-Nixon-Missions-Bug auftreten, aber auch das Abschließen mancher Story-Abschnitte werden aufgezählt. Offiziell gibt es bisher keinen Fix für das Problem, lediglich ein Workaround der funktionieren kann, aber nicht muss.
Ein Nutzer berichtet, dass er den Bug mithilfe des Koop-Modus auf der PlayStation 4 bei sich und seinem Kollegen entfernen konnte. Neuinstallation, Download der kompletten Spieldateien und Laden alter Spielstände brachte indes keine Abhilfe. Nachdem im Koop-Modus mehrere Missionen abgeschlossen wurden, auch die von Clutch Nixon, wurde es wieder hell. Wann Ubisoft den Fehler offiziell in Angriff nimmt, ist noch unklar. Morgen soll erst mal das Title-Update 4 für Far Cry 5 erscheinen. Dieses behebt Abstürze des Spiels und Probleme mit gespeicherten Spielständen. In der Ankündigung zum Patch gab es jedoch keine Patchnotes, weshalb auch noch nicht klar ist, ob auch der Tag-Nacht-Wechsel-Bug darin behoben wird, oder nicht.
