Mit dem Patch auf Version 0.29 bekommt der Free-To-Play Shooter Survarium einen neuen Anstrich. Buchstäblich.
Die Neuerungen, welche das Update mit sich bringt, sind zahlreich. Vostok Games spendiert seinem Endzeit-Shooter nicht nur reichlich neuen Content, sondern dreht zusätzlich noch an der ein oder anderen Schraube. Die Grafik wurde erneut optimiert, Änderungen am Licht, der Vegetation und dem Kontrast sollen die Farbsättigung reduzierens und damit die Augen entlasten und nicht zuletzt zu verbesserter Performance auf manchen Maps führen.
Das Sound-System des Spiels wurde komplett überarbeitet. So werden die Geräusche abgefeuerten Waffen ab sofort beeinflusst durch die Umgebung. Jede Umgebung hat ihren individuellen Sound. Position und Distanz des Gegners sollen so leichter bestimmt werden können. Dazu wurden wetterbedingte Sounds hinzugefügt wie Wind, Regentropfen u.ä. Ausprobieren könnt ihr das am besten gleich auf der neuen Location im Spiel, der London Map.
Auch am Menü hat Vostok Games einige Änderungen vorgenommen. Server können jetzt direkt im Spiel vor dem Matchmaking gewählt werden, in der Werkstatt könnt ihr eure Waffen und euer Equipment upgraden, Achievements, Änderungen des Ligen-System und neue Belohnungen runden das ganze ab. Dazu wurden das Rüstungs- und Waffenbalancing angepasst, zudem wurden fünf neue Waffen zum Shop hinzugefügt: Die FN P90, KRISS Vector, MSBS Radon, Valmet Rk.62 und die vz. 58 P. Bestaunen könnt ihr die Waffen in den neuen Killcams, die euch außerdem verraten, von wo genau euer Gegner euch erwischt hat. Die Zeiten des Campings scheinen damit erstmal vorbei, auch Wallhacker dürften jetzt schneller entlarvt werden. Zu guter letzt wurde die Runden-Übersicht am Ende eines Matches erneuert, ihr könnt nun mit den anderen Spielern chatten und euch deren Charaktere anschauen.
